One month and counting!

So it's been a while since I've updated in here...sorry for the delay for those of you who nag me about this blog (yes- I'm finger pointing Nicole!  but it's reluctantly appreciated)

I've made it to the last month of my pregnancy!  We've fallen behind on taking my belly pictures, but there's about a 6 pound baby in there, so use your imagination!  David did take a cute picture of me and his Aunt Megan (who's due in March) on Christmas Day.  It's on his facebook page.

I'm now in the phase of my pregnancy with lots of discomforts, but so far, all has been the usual stuff: swollen feet, back pain, etc.  I'm seeing my OB every 2 weeks now, and after next week it will start to be weekly appointments to the countdown!  At last visit, Alex is already head down.  I had this figured out since there's a lot more nudges and 2 very hard kicks to my ribs!  So far, we know Alex has David's nose and lips, and now we know that he may be a large-headed baby.  (deep breaths, calm down, Mary...you can do this)

I'm still making a bunch of baby knits including more hats,
yes, this is a breast hat: in case Alex is in nursery at hospital to help remind the staff that he's a proud little breastfeeder!!

stocking cap in progress.  Hopefully for photo-prop
 a pullover
still needs buttons
 and a cardigan.
still needs buttons

Yesterday, I got to hold my friends 2 week old daughter and started getting even more excited (if possible) about getting to meet Alex soon!

The nursery is functional minus a few things, like a contour changing pad and a rug, but other than that, I think we're good to go!
